Anni's approach is grounded in a holistic experiential modalities orienting to the therapeutic process from a relational process. In contrast to traditional forms of therapy, Anni does not focus on pathologies but rather gently explore adaptive symptoms/conditions and what may be underneath the survival or coping strategies (core needs and inherent capacities).
Integrative therapy tends to not focus on behaviors and thoughts but rather concentrates attention on the relationship and meaning-making humans have with/of their situation, how they relate to themselves and their current challenges, themselves and interpersonal dynamics.
This model is based on the premise that healing and creating positive life change takes time, patience, and compassion. In this spirit, the therapeutic process is not linear, but a dynamic process of reclaiming and remembrance.
"The guidance, practical tools, reflections, and insights you’ve offered during my sessions with you have been a pivotal part of my journey over the last several months — helping me move from a state of exhaustion and near crisis to rediscovery of my true self.... living more deeply from the heart than ever before. For this I am so grateful! You have a true gift, Anni!"
